UNI_VCIP is obtained through a complete esterification reaction of hetero-hydroxy palmitic acid 

with vitamin C. It is one of the few oil-soluble components among vitamin C derivatives. 

It is more stable than vitamin C and penetrate sebum to enter the epidermis and dermis layers 

more effectively. It can be quickly absorbed by skin and then converted into vitamin C to 

exert whitening effects. It can be also used in after-sun care, as it can effectively inhibit 

the increase of intracellular reactive oxygen species after UVB irradiation and enhance 

the cell tolerance.
